Annual Evaluation of Members

Hello ladies and gentlemen!
The time has come for the yearly annual evaluation of the hep7 members.

Firstly, we do not regret to announce that one of our members have been voted off the group as he has been virtually anonymous in recent months. He is non other than our good friend who i-don't-know-why doesn't answer his phone calls whenever he has a call from our dear kenneth. No wonder when asked about him, HE said "who is he?"...
After putting the aeroplane for quite a number of ocassions, the time has come for our 7th and latest member of the club to go... Thank you for all ur previous contributions, but some say, its just not enough.

Here comes the part where all of you have been waiting for! The voting results from the millions of people around the world...

Royden > ineligible to participate due to unavailability in recent times.

A bidding box is a box of cards, each bearing the name of one of the legal calls in bridge. A player wishing to make a call displays the appropriate card from the box, rather than making a verbal declaration. This prevents unauthorized information from being conveyed via voice inflection. In top national and international events, "bidding screens" are used. These are diagonal screens which are placed across the table, preventing a player from seeing his partner during the game.

The story takes place after the events of the original Red Alert, following on from the Allied storyline, whereby the war ends in an Allied victory. With Stalin dead and the war over, the Allies appoint Alexander Romanov as a puppet ruler, stating that "although an aristocrat and a member of the Communist party, Romanov was an advocate of peace". (The name 'Romanov' seems not to be an accident and Romanov states that 'We Romanovs have our legacy to consider!') Under Romanov's leadership, the USSR rebuilds itself from the destruction of the first war. However, unbeknownst to the Allies, Romanov harbours a deep hatred of the victorious Allies, and secretly works to develop military technology and rebuild the Red Army. Romanov builds up a supposedly peaceful "World Socialist Alliance" that is ostensibly meant to lend peaceful aid to other socialist nations, notably Iraq, Libya, and Cuba. When a civil war breaks out in Mexico, a member state of the peaceful WSA, Romanov dispatches troops as peace keepers. Sensing that the time is right for an attack, Romanov launches a full-scale invasion of the continental United States. The Soviets realized that they lost the last war because the United States came to Europe's aid, so they decided to focus their efforts against the United States in this new war. Russia's "peace keepers" in Mexico roll across the border into the United States, while the Red Navy and Red Air Force launch devastating attacks on America's Pacific and Atlantic coasts. When US President Michael Dugan threatens nuclear retaliation against the USSR, Romanov's Science and Technology Advisor, Yuri, uses psychic technology to sabotage America's nuclear capabilities. As the Soviet military machine swarms across the United States, President Dugan makes a desperate plea for assistance from the European Union. European forces unite with the war-torn United States after the United States neutralizes Soviet Missile Silos and the world is plunged into a World War lll as the Allies and Soviets once again grapple over the fate of the entire world.

Respected madam,


I am writing this letter on behalf of all those who were involved in the events that took place in hall 16 on 31/03/2007. We take full responsibility for breaking the notice board and fire extinguisher closet. Basically what happened was that we(Aditya Panda ,Abhilash Paul,Amitoj Saini, Vinay Gupta and Sumit Khemani) were playing monopoly and drinking, around midnight Amitoj and me went out to the bathroom and we had an arguement over the game and got into a fight I pushed amitoj who banged into the notice board and broke it from the middle. Since it had been broken we decided to bring it down completely. Sumit along with the others was smoking and playing with matchsticks and throwing them around one of the matchsticks caused the notices to catch fire which was very minor and could be stamped out. However Abhilash came out and being in an ineberiated state did not realize that the fire was not that big and as a precautionary measure broke the fire extinguisher case to take out the extinguisher before anybody could stop him. The fire was easily stamped out. We would like to apologize for whatever that happened that night. We realize that we did make a lot of noise that night and caused a great deal of inconvinience to all the hall residents. It was a regretful experience and we are aware that misconduct inside the hall premises was unacceptable and hence would like to apologize to the hall office and the residents of hall 16 as well to whom we caused considerable amount of inconvinience.

As a corrective measure we offer to pay the cost for all the damage sustained and assure you that such an incident will never happen again. Once again we apologize for our actions.
